Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Associate Attorney located in Pretoria.

The Senior Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice, conducting research, representing clients in complex litigation matters, court appearances, managing case files independently from start to finish, drafting legal opinions and pleadings, collaborating closely with colleagues in a team-oriented environment, and building strong relationships with clients through clear communication. A strong background in litigation is essential.

Qualifications

  • LLB with a minimum of 12 years post-articles experience
  • Experience with CourtOnline and Caselines
  • Proven track record
  • Right of Appearance in the High Court
  • Strong litigation and drafting skills
  • Experience in conducting thorough research and negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant experience in a legal firm or corporate setting
  • Own vehicle
