Account managers act as client and consulting advocates and work within the consulting department to ensure that client needs, as well as consultants' needs, are understood and satisfied.
Responsibilities include making sales (hunting for new business and farming existing clients), handling client complaints, collecting and analyzing data, and improving the overall customer experience.
We need someone who understands the world of IT consulting, fixed-term consulting, and time & material projects.
There will also be opportunities to cross-sell Dotcom's solutions - managed services, customized software development, Azure cloud migration solutions, etc.
We seek communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about IT consulting services and client relations.
This position acts as a point of contact for clients and consultants based at these clients.
The role involves building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and consultants, always striving to find solutions that best fit individual needs.
Additional duties include collecting information such as sales leads or testimonials, assisting in processing and analyzing client data and complaints, and identifying industry trends.
Ideal candidates should possess exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills, and be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, organized, and capable of building rapport with clients.

Responsibilities: Engage with allocated clients regularly to meet their needs and ensure resource performance. Secure new business and grow the contractor base. Engage with placed consultants weekly to ensure performance and satisfaction. Facilitate the delivery of consulting staff at client sites. Ensure accurate reporting and integrity of month-end processes. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain Dotcom's value. Build relationships based on trust and respect. Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill client needs. Collect and analyze data to understand consumer behavior. Maintain accurate records of client interactions. Keep updated on company products and services. Resolve complaints and improve processes to prevent issues. Identify industry trends. Act as a client advocate to enhance their experience. Assist with month-end and timesheet reconciliations. Load and maintain opportunities on relevant platforms.
Requirements: Matric, IT Diploma or Degree, exceptional communication skills, customer relationship skills, experience with resource management of IT consultants, in-depth knowledge of the IT sector with a focus on consulting. Soft skills include collaboration, communication, passion for resolving client pain points, openness to feedback, knowledge of industry trends, teamwork, lifelong learning, creativity, effective communication, meticulousness, logical and analytical thinking, and a detailed-oriented work style.
