Restaurant Supervisor Luxury Wine Estate Franschhoek

Salary : R10,000 - R12,000 per month (Negotiable DOE)

Live Out Position

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for a prestigious luxury wine estate situated in Franschhoek. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, service-driven individual with a background in fine dining or upmarket restaurant environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery
2. Lead and motivate the front of house team to maintain high service standards
3. Assist in staff training, development, and performance management
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
5. Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle guest queries and complaints efficiently
6. Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments for a seamless guest experience
7. Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering supplies
8. Ensure accurate cash-ups, billing, and POS system management
9. Support the Restaurant Manager with operational and administrative tasks

Requirements :

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a similar luxury restaurant or hospitality environment
2. Strong leadership and communication skills
3. Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
5. Professional appearance and demeanor
6. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
7. Solid understanding of food and beverage service
8. Wine knowledge is advantageous
