Job description

Our client in the Gambling, Betting and Gaming Industry is in search of a Digital Marketing Manager.

This is a full-time onsite role.

This role will be based in SA and will serve the group as a whole. We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Strategist to develop, lead, and optimize our digital marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals across all three jurisdictions. The focus will be on driving brand growth, customer acquisition, and engagement across all digital platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing integrated digital marketing strategies (paid, owned, earned media) across web, mobile, and social channels.
  2. Analyzing market trends, audience insights, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  3. Overseeing digital campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking.
  4. Optimizing digital user journeys, conversion rates, and customer experience.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, design, and product.
  6. Measuring and reporting on KPIs, ROI, and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 7+ years of experience in digital marketing or digital strategy roles.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing digital strategies in B2C or B2B environments.
  • Background in industries such as retail, e-commerce, media, fintech, gaming, or telecommunications is advantageous.
  • Experience with digital media buying, performance marketing, social media, SEO, CRM, and analytics.
  • Experience managing digital campaigns across multiple channels, including website, social, search, programmatic, and email.
  • Experience working with digital agencies or media partners.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, AdWords, Meta, programmatic platforms), and best practices.
  • Analytical mindset capable of interpreting data, generating insights, and driving action.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent project management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools is a plus.
