JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Sales Representative - Renewable Energy

Location: Midrand, Gauteng

Working Hours: 08h30 – 17h30

Job Objective

The successful sales person will be in charge of managing the company's relationships with its customers. They are responsible for developing new markets and customers, building long-term relationships, and maintaining these relationships throughout their duration with the company.

The goal is to retain clients or accounts for as long as possible.

The role involves finding new business opportunities, managing assigned prospects and accounts, or a combination of both. Tasks may include project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establishing new business and promoting Renewable Energy solutions.
  2. Serving as the primary point of contact and building long-term relationships with customers.
  3. Assisting customers via email, phone, online presentations, screen sharing, and in-person meetings.
  4. Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  5. Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs.
  6. Communicating progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  8. Maintaining current client satisfaction and providing exceptional service daily.
  9. Liaising between customers and internal teams.
Job Requirements
  • Grade 12 education.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Availability to work from the office at least one day a week and during training sessions.
  • Willingness to travel and meet clients on non-office days.
  • Experience in new business acquisition; existing database experience is beneficial.
  • Minimum of 2 years solar industry experience with a proven track record.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to face challenges, and willing to travel.
