Job description

A client in Burgersfort (Limpopo) is in search of a Promotions and Events Manager for their hotel.

Job Purpose

To effectively plan, manage, and execute the resort's promotions and events (including hotel, casino, and convention areas) in accordance with company standards. The role involves targeting relevant markets, delivering superior revenue results within budget, and creating an exciting and engaging environment for resort guests.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Degree or Diploma
Minimum Requirements
  • A proven track record in a similar role
  • At least 5 years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably in the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, including above-average computer and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Innovation and creativity with attention to detail
  • Good organizational and administrative skills

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement casino and hospitality promotions, competitions, and activations, ensuring excellence in promotional activities and sound marketing principles
  • Identify and establish sound business objectives
  • Integrate business intelligence and reporting
  • Collaborate with management and ensure alignment with marketing principles
  • Plan a relevant and financially viable entertainment calendar targeting relevant markets to increase footfall and gaming revenue, including music concerts, shows, entertainment, family holiday programs, sporting events, and festivals
  • Implement and manage the company's Winners Circle Rewards Programme, including promotional strategies, local partnerships, customer relationship management, and fulfillment
  • Champion communication of CSI initiatives and handle related public relations, including social media
