MRP Controller

Job Function

• To manage and control the relationships between the suppliers, product
  demand, production, and inventory to ensure balanced and stable relationships
  and stock levels.

Key performance areas
Import Customer Demand into ERP (Sypro)
Process Customer Demand on EDI portal
Import EDI demand into Syspro
Manually upload customer demand for customers that are not on EDI
Verify completeness of Customer demand received

Update MRP Excel file

• Refresh SOH
• Refresh Demand
• Calculate VWSA Backlog
• Insert VWSA Backlog into MRP demand
• Refresh Component demand via BOM
• Refresh PO's
• Refresh GRN's
• Establish critical parts - Out of Lead Time (OLT)

Place new orders

• Generate new orders as per MRP for all suppliers
• Update and send releases to all suppliers

PO management

• Track milestone adherance of all PO's
• Engage with suppliers and Forwarder on PO's that missed milestones

Qualifications required
? B.Eng / B.Sc in Industrial-, or Mechanical Engineering Matric / N3, OR
? B.Sc Statistics / Mathematics, OR
? BCom Logistics / Supply Chain

Skills and experience required
? Up to 3 years practical experience in inventory and stock control as a Material
Resource Planner.
? Experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage.
? MSExcel (Provisient), MSWord, MSPowerpoint., MSOutlook
? Working knowledge of Syspro
