Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Implement efficient start-up, change-over, and shutdown procedures, ensuring seamless production flow.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, waste, and utilisation to optimize resource allocation.
• Monitor the production dashboard for efficiency, downtime, and absenteeism, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
• Measure production output, packing inventory, and ensure correct labelling and strapping to maintain product quality.
• Verify the proper functioning of production machinery to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
• Oversee wet line applications and production checklists to guarantee compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to production planning and final packing instructions to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.

• Quality & Compliance: Track and report on fruit weight, cup fill, and rejected pallets to identify areas for improvement.
• Enforce Health & Safety compliance, ensuring all procedures are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Supervise cleaning schedules and pre-audits to align with external requirements, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear communication across all levels for smooth operations, providing updates and feedback as needed.
• Report deviations and corrective actions to the production and packhouse manager, escalating issues promptly.
• Keep detailed records of production activities and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and present reports in meetings related to production, quality, and compliance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
