Job Purpose:
  1. To drive growth in flow and event business activity for a specific client and/or for a portfolio of clients within a sector.
  2. To translate the sector strategy into a tactical client portfolio strategy and drive execution by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, defining and distilling strategies into actionable tasks, creating shared success metrics, and leading client engagement and service teams for retention and growth.
  3. To own a sector’s portfolio client relationships, anticipate client challenges, coordinate solutions, and develop relationships to increase the value of the client’s portfolio, working with bankers and support teams.
Are You Someone Who Can:
  1. Lead transactors and specialists within the cross-functional team, providing leadership, oversight, and performance driving for the specific client set.
  2. Develop and deliver client plans aligned with the Sector Strategy, identifying revenue growth opportunities to meet sales targets.
  3. Collaborate with the Sector Head and stakeholders to develop the Sector Strategy to drive revenue growth and generate client leads.
  4. Manage the origination process, anticipate client needs, and ideate innovative solutions for emerging needs.
  5. Analyze financial and client data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for cross-selling within the portfolio.
  6. Identify key target clients and opportunities from sector trends to enhance earnings.
  7. Work closely with business units and product teams to identify new revenue opportunities.
  8. Define and execute tactical moves as part of the sales strategy for specific product areas.
  9. Develop and maintain key client relationships across the sector.
  10. Build sector insights and understand the client ecosystem.
  11. Understand the bank’s product and service offerings to meet client needs effectively.
  12. Establish relationships with product/solution partners for collaborative execution of client action plans.
  13. Apply a customer-centric approach, maximizing service and building relationships.
  14. Seek innovative, digitally-oriented solutions to client needs and craft strategies for client-specific solutions.
  15. Manage teams responsible for performance targets and human capital objectives.
You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You:
  1. Hold an undergraduate degree (minimum), with postgraduate qualifications preferred.
  2. Have 8-10 years of Investment Banking or Coverage experience.
  3. Can engage at C-suite level, building trust and strategic relationships.
  4. Possess strong structuring abilities and a deep understanding of risk.
  5. Have experience managing teams and multiple stakeholders.
  6. Are driven to build and grow new business with RMB.
