Job Overview
My client is seeking a dynamic, creative, and versatile Social Media & Marketing Coordinator with strong graphic design capabilities. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of social media strategy, marketing execution, and visual brand development. The ideal candidate is both strategically minded and creatively driven, able to manage digital engagement while producing high-quality, on-brand design assets.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Create and schedule original, engaging content (text, images, videos, infographics).
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience engagement.
- Respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
- Track key metrics and prepare performance reports with actionable insights.
2. Marketing Campaigns & Coordination
- Support the planning and execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Conduct market research to inform strategic decisions and identify customer trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and management to promote new products, seasonal offers, and events.
- Assist in event planning (pop-ups, trade shows, launches), including logistics, branding, and promotion.
3. Graphic Design & Brand Identity
- Design and maintain the brands visual identity including logos, typography, and brand guidelines.
- Create digital marketing materials: banners, email templates, advertisements, social media graphics, web assets.
- Produce print collateral such as brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, signage, and promotional materials.
- Support internal communications with visually cohesive templates, reports, and presentations.
4. Website & Digital Asset Management
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure an attractive, intuitive, and up-to-date website.
- Implement SEO best practices and monitor website analytics to support digital growth.
- Regularly manage and update website content, including product listings.
5. Email Marketing & CRM
- Design and execute targeted email campaigns aligned with marketing promotions and audience segments.
- Segment mailing lists and track email engagement for continuous improvement.
- Maintain customer databases and implement CRM strategies to increase customer retention.
6. Advertising & Promotions
- Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads.
- Continuously optimize ad performance through testing, analytics, and budget management.
7. Partnerships & Influencer Collaborations
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with relevant influencers, bloggers, and brands.
- Coordinate and manage co-branded campaigns and collaborative marketing initiatives.
8. Print & Production Management
- Design print advertisements for newspapers, magazines, and other media.
- Liaise with printers to ensure the quality and accuracy of all printed materials.
9. Event & Campaign Materials
- Develop branded visuals for corporate events, activations, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure all visual elements align with brand identity and campaign objectives.
10. Reporting & Budget Management
- Regularly report on marketing and design campaign performance.
- Track expenses and manage the marketing budget to ensure cost efficiency and impact.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and best practices for both print and digital media.
- Excellent time management, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and paid advertising platforms.
- Strong creative vision and attention to visual detail.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 23 years experience in a similar marketing and design role.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of previous design and content work is essential.
