Supervisor, Clinical Liaison (Dentist or Orthodontist) - Based in South Africa

We are seeking a Senior Supervisor, Clinical Liaison to lead and inspire a team of Clinical Specialists across the region. This leadership role focuses on driving growth, enhancing clinical confidence among customer dentists, and promoting digital dentistry in Africa through education on Align's innovative digital platform.

Location: EMEA - South Africa

As a mentor and strategic thinker, you will motivate your team to excel in their daily activities, deliver outstanding performance, and navigate the challenges of digital transformation in dentistry. Your role will significantly impact patient care and the adoption of digital solutions in the local dental community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and oversee a team of Clinical Specialists to promote growth and clinical confidence through education on Align's protocols and ClinCheck software, including clinical troubleshooting.
  2. Provide supervision, mentorship, and performance management for team members, including onboarding and training new hires.
  3. Monitor team productivity, offer constructive feedback, and support personal development.
  4. Analyze program outcomes, report findings, and develop new strategies for continuous improvement.
  5. Investigate clinical-related customer inquiries, complaints, and adverse events to ensure quality service.
  6. Demonstrate leadership and influence as a trusted 'go-to person' within the team and organization.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, Dental Technology, or Dental Therapy/Hygiene.
  • Experience in customer relations and team leadership is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence through public speaking.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to innovate and think outside the box.
  • Fluent in English, with good analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% across Africa.
