Financial Accountant (6-month contract) (HG7HX6-CB29F15C) Sandton, South Africa

Our client, a leading player in the fintech industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.

What you'll do :

Achieve in-depth knowledge of process flows, operational requirements, and system design.

Perform revenue assurance checks to align billing systems with partner contracts.

Follow up on all outstanding receivables and ensure payables are settled within SLAs.

Review and approve reconciliations performed by the Reconciliation and Settlement team.

Identify reconciliation issues and escalate them to responsible parties.

Compile audit working papers and supporting documentation to meet external audit requirements.

Drive results and implement best practices within daily operations.

What you bring :

Part-qualified or newly qualified CA(SA).

Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.

External audit experience is highly advantageous.

Advanced Excel skills.

Experience in process automation.

Experience working with large data volumes.
