What You’ll Be Doing (key Responsibilities)
As our
HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and support full-cycle recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Maintain HR documentation, employee records, contracts, and compliance registers.
- Administer and track training, inductions, and probation processes.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labour legislation.
- Coordinate employee relations matters including disciplinary hearings and counselling.
- Ensure compliance with HR controls, including WSP, EE, and BBBEE data tracking.
- Drive HR calendar events (wellness, engagement, reviews) and support ad-hoc projects.
- Provide strategic and operational support to management on HR-related issues.
Experience
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 3–5 years of generalist HR experience in a fast-paced or operational environment.
- Proven experience in recruitment, HR compliance, and employee relations.
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification; and
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology.
- Valid driver’s license.
