About our client:

Our client stands out as a recognised expert in automation technology, earning prestigious accolades for their innovative approach. Through the utilisation of state-of-the-art technology, they have positioned themselves as a prominent figure in global UC management. Drawing on more than 20 years of industry expertise, this organisation is growing at a phenomenal rate. This is a new position set up to accommodate the spate of inbound customer interest. As this function is a new one, in your role as Sales Development Manager, you will have a clean slate to hire your own team of SDR's and create the perfect business unit.



What you will be doing:

  • Spearhead the evolution of SDR activities, processes, and performance metrics, while coaching and mentoring the team through 1-on-1s, joint call sessions, and skills development plans.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to arrange introductory business meetings, while evaluating prospect needs against our offerings to secure qualified meetings.
  • Launch targeted prospect outreach campaigns, research and gather target account contact information and account intelligence, and foster and qualify leads utilizing a contact database, prospecting processes, and supporting collateral.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Sales account managers to penetrate targeted accounts and uncover sales opportunities.
  • Articulate the value proposition to various prospect contacts, including senior and C-level executives, and enhance team skills in outbound prospecting, inbound optimization, qualifying, meeting setting, and execution.
  • Track activity metrics and KPIs, maintain documentation governance, including briefing and meeting notes, along with accurate CRM entries (Salesforce), and provide regular activity reports to Sales and Marketing colleagues regarding target prospects, interactions, and initial calls.



What our client is looking for:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience leading a B2B Enterprise sales development, outbound prospecting and/or inside sales team, preferably within the SaaS Technology sector and global markets.
  • Proven success in exceeding targets.
  • Expertise in [URL Removed] and MS Office Applications.
  • Proficient with sales development tools including [URL Removed] Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, and LinkedIn.
  • Self-motivated and creative in generating prospect conversations.
  • Agile, results-oriented, and persistent.
