Dear Future Sales Call Centre Agent,

The Call Centre Agent acts as the intermediary between The Engine Room and clients, promoting products and services while building long-term relationships. The role involves quoting clients based on inbound or outbound leads and converting these into sales. Successful consultants provide personalized service and foster trust, honesty, and integrity to help customers find the best solutions to meet their needs.

Are You Someone Who Can
  1. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  2. Sell a range of Value-Added Products, including Service, Warranty, Maintenance, Bodyline Maintenance, Shortfall, etc.
  3. Be flexible to move between campaigns based on business needs.
  4. Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements.
  5. Maintain a minimum of 4 hours talk time and an overall productivity time of 7 hours.
  6. Provide accurate and objective information to enable informed purchase decisions.
  7. Capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  8. Follow sales scripts to maintain quality standards.
  9. Maintain a minimum QA score of 90% at all times.
  10. Enhance The Engine Room’s reputation through quality sales and communication.
  11. Select the correct lead outcomes.
  12. Offer personalized services and build lasting relationships based on trust and integrity.
  13. Meet all TCF and compliance obligations.
  14. Follow The Engine Room’s processes and policies, including First Rand Policies & Procedures.
  15. Stay fit and proper, keeping up to date with legislative requirements (qualifications, CPD hours, RE5, Class of Business, etc.).
  16. Stay informed about product changes and market trends.
You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You
  1. Have Matric qualification.
  2. Meet Fit and Proper Requirements based on DOFA date, including RE qualification and FAIS Credits.
  3. Are fluent in English.
  4. Have a minimum of 12 months telesales experience.
  5. Possess an insurance background (beneficial).
  6. Have Service and Maintenance sales experience.
