Job description

At Exodus, we love adventure travel and always have. We first took a group of travelers to the Himalayas 50 years ago and have since expanded to every continent of the planet. Today, we offer hundreds of itineraries across the globe, focusing on responsible travel that supports local communities and preserves the environment while aiming to provide meaningful experiences to all who travel with us.

We are looking to hire a Copywriter to join our team! Reporting to the Head of Brand & Acquisition, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating compelling and persuasive content that captures the essence of our global brand. You’ll craft a diverse range of content, including website copy, social media posts (paid & organic), email campaigns, brochures, and print ads, ensuring your writing resonates across various international markets.

Your writing will highlight how Exodus offers a different way to holiday, emphasizing the freedom, comfort, and unique experiences we provide.

What we’ll offer:

What you’ll do:
  1. Content Creation: Develop engaging, high-quality copy for multiple platforms, including website content, social media, email marketing, brochures, and print advertisements.
  2. Brand Voice: Maintain and enhance Exodus’s brand voice across all channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and appeal.
  3. SEO Optimisation: Incorporate SEO best practices and relevant keywords to improve content visibility and searchability in global markets.
  4. Campaign Collaboration: Work with the Creative Marketing team to develop content for promotional campaigns, product launches, and special offers.
  5. Market Research: Conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitors to inform your writing and ensure global relevance.
  6. Proofreading and Editing: Review and edit content for accuracy, grammar, style, and tone to uphold quality standards.
  7. Creative Strategy: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to developing creative strategies to enhance our content continually.
What you’ll bring:
  1. Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role, ideally in the travel industry.
  2. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English.
  3. Experience in email copywriting for CRM departments.
  4. Strong understanding of SEO methodologies and keyword integration.
  5. Ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple platforms.
  6. Knowledge of digital marketing, social media trends, and content strategy.
  7. Creativity and innovative thinking to build engaging content.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
