Job description

Key Performance Areas

1. Diagnose and repair faults on PLC-controlled equipment.
2. Modify and optimize PLC programs using ladder format.
3. Access and navigate Adroit SCADA systems for monitoring and control.
4. Troubleshoot and repair temperature control instrumentation.
5. Collaborate with maintenance personnel on equipment repairs and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Perform regular inspections, adjustments, and repairs via the work order system.
7. Repair and fine-tune robotic equipment as needed.
8. Participate actively in safety, health, and environmental programs in the plant.
9. Ensure adherence to company policies, goals, and operational objectives.
10. Able to read and understand electrical drawings.
11. Electrical & PLC fault finding.
12. Ability to read and understand hydraulic/pneumatic drawings.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Qualified Millwright or Electrician with applicable experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical/maintenance environment.

Technical Skills : Competency in troubleshooting and fault diagnostics of PLC systems.

Ability to make programming changes using ladder logic.

Familiarity with Adroit SCADA systems.

Skilled in instrumentation fault finding and repair, particularly for temperature control systems.

Experience with repairs and maintenance of robotics and computer-based equipment.
