An Accountant is responsible for managing and reporting financial data for an organization.

They ensure accuracy in financial documents, compliance with relevant laws and regulations,

and help the organization make sound financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
  • Manage all accounting transactions including accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and assist in financial planning.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Maintain and update accounting systems and databases.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices.

Requirements :

Education & Certification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and tax laws.

Experience :

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Experience with accounting software.
  • Cost accounting will be beneficial.

Skills :

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
