Job description

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate within a team of specialist data scientists to help the client discover insights hidden in vast data sets, enabling smarter decisions for better products and services.

You will handle complex projects and provide technical mentoring and coaching for junior team members.

Responsibilities:

1. Apply data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and build high-quality machine learning models
2. Partner with business areas to translate challenges into actionable data science models
3. Create and maintain internal data science tooling platforms
4. Build predictive and prescriptive machine learning models to increase strategic and competitive advantage
5. Contribute to the data science community within the organization by sharing knowledge and skills
6. Participate in research of new technologies and assess their usability across the platform

Must have:

• Deep knowledge of machine learning methods and principles
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Python, PySpark, ML libraries, and frameworks
• Ability to understand real-world problems and suggest viable solutions
• Capability to work independently from analysis to production
• Presentation skills to explain ML models and provide insights to business units
• Experience with machine learning tools like scikit-learn, PyTorch, PyCaret, etc.
• Experience with Hadoop Big Data Platform: PySpark, HDFS, Hive
• Team skills: guiding junior team members and maintaining team standards
