Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking to employ an E-Plan Designer based in Gqeberha.

Requirements:

  • A National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience using E-Plan - the ability to create E-Plan drawings is essential.
  • Solid understanding of electrical processes and working knowledge of SANS 10142 regulations.
  • Skills in electrical panel building.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable own transport are essential.
  • Strong time management abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

  • Develop control system concepts for automation projects in response to RFQs.
  • Create detailed bills of materials based on developed control concepts.
  • Document control system designs using E-Plan software.
  • Continuously improve design philosophy in line with both international and local electrical standards.
  • Apply sound electrical principles to ensure reliable operation of all company projects.
  • Demonstrate a disciplined and well-organised approach to work.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, promoting task transparency, progress sharing and team-based review of completed work to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Display flexibility with the ability to work overtime at short notice when required.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and remain focused on achieving goals.
