Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for an E&I Clerk of Works / Project Manager in Pretoria. In this role, you will manage full-time onsite Electrical & Instrumentation EPCM projects, acting as the Package Engineer and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of industrial experience, including 6 years in project management, complemented by a diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. This position requires strong command of project control and quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' industrial experience in a mining or plant environment.
• At least 6 years in a Project Management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Manage all E&I aspects of projects executed by the Projects Department.
• Act as Package Engineer for onsite and office-based EPCM projects.
• Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFQs and enquiries.
• Evaluate and adjudicate tenders; recommend suitable contractors.
• Verify that all E&I designs comply with SANS standards.
