Placements24 is seeking an organized E-commerce Social Media Coordinator for a hybrid role in Randburg. You will assist in content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and reporting on performance metrics to support the brand's online presence.

The position offers in-office collaboration as needed and opportunities to learn and grow within digital marketing and e-commerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 1–2 years of social media management/coordination experience (internships considered).
• Familiarity with major platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, commute to Randburg office as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and curating engaging content for social media per brand guidelines.
• Schedule and publish posts across channels using scheduling tools.
• Monitor channels for comments/messages; respond or escalate as needed.
• Track performance metrics and help compile regular reports.
• Support Social Media Manager in executing campaign strategies.
• Stay updated on social media best practices and trends relevant to e-commerce.
