Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic E-commerce Social Media Coordinator in Kimberley to support marketing efforts. You will help execute social media strategies, schedule posts, monitor engagement, and grow the brand's online presence under the Social Media Manager.

The ideal candidate is organized, creative, eager to learn in the e-commerce and digital marketing space, with basic familiarity of major platforms and Canva.

Qualifications

• Some experience or strong interest in social media management and digital marketing.
• Basic understanding of major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and publishing social media content across platforms according to the content calendar.
• Monitor social channels for comments, messages and mentions, responding or escalating as needed.
• Help create simple visual assets and copy for social posts under guidance.
• Track key social media metrics and assist in preparing performance reports.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities and relevant conversations.
• Support community management by engaging with followers and fostering positive interactions.
