Job description

We are looking for a highly coordinated e-commerce manager to oversee the development and utility of our company's income-generating sites.

Position Info

  1. Purpose: Successfully support the establishment of e-commerce projects and grow online sales capability through new e-commerce channels. Effectively support cross-functional projects to launch new e-commerce channels. Manage and optimize all online sales channels, including owned and partner platforms. Connect e-commerce to the existing digital ecosystem and optimize for sales. Manage all CRM/direct marketing communications. Proactively monitor and optimize the ecosystem and accurately report to the business using data insights. Conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes, and monitor strategy effectiveness through standardized metrics.

In this role, you should lead teams, providing guidance as needed, and stay informed about relevant e-commerce trends and innovations. Continual learning and skill enhancement are essential to improve collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate on developing e-commerce roadmaps and marketing plans aligned with business objectives and sales goals.
  2. Work across functions and within Marketing to integrate e-commerce into the digital ecosystem.
  3. Coordinate with Product and Digital Marketing teams to ensure alignment with priorities.
  4. Manage online sales touchpoints, including owned and partner sites.
  5. Manage digital assets and content effectively for all products.
  6. Analyze data and performance metrics to identify gaps and suggest improvements.
  7. Map and optimize the online customer journey for sales, including lead generation and conversion for B2C and B2B.
  8. Innovate digital strategies to generate online sales and transform social media into profitable platforms.
  9. Develop strategies utilizing sales insights, standards, and innovations to boost online store sales.
  10. Oversee activities of developers, copywriters, and designers to ensure strategy adherence.
  11. Review checkout security and payment procedures.
  12. Create and verify promotional offers and legal disclaimers.
  13. Analyze website traffic and marketing data to inform maintenance and strategy.
  14. Report on the effectiveness of strategies and overall utility.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in marketing management, business, information systems, or related fields; sales qualifications preferred.
  • Extensive experience as an e-commerce manager.
  • Proven success in devising sales strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce procedures and techniques.
  • Exceptional supervision, research, troubleshooting, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technological tools with ease.
