Job description

At Jonsson Workwear, we're fully committed to creating exceptional and memorable experiences for each of our customers. Whether in-store or online, every touchpoint is an opportunity to authentically connect, inspire and ultimately equip our customers for peak performance.

One way we make our workwear accessible to anyone, anywhere, is through our world-class online store. Developed for both hardworking individuals and large-scale teams, our industry-leading ecommerce platform goes beyond traditional online retail. Purpose-built for efficiency, it also serves as a streamlined workwear management tool for businesses of every size.

To oversee this integral channel, we're looking for a forward-thinking and commercially astute Ecommerce Leader. With your strategic vision and hands-on expertise, you'll take ownership of the Jonsson Workwear ecommerce journey, ensuring a seamless experience for customers across both desktop and mobile web.

Drawing on your self-starting initiative and through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you'll pilot and fast-track new ways to continually improve our website's functionality. With every step forward, you'll create a brilliant, customer-centric online experience that empowers hardworking people in every industry.

The proactive and visionary Ecommerce Leader best suited to the role will:

  • Create a seamless ecommerce journey that delivers the same exceptional user experience to individuals, small businesses and large corporate clients alike.
  • Create an intuitive ecommerce journey across desktop and mobile web that consistently enables our customers to confidently shop online.
  • Oversee both frontend and backend operations to ensure a smooth, world-class ecommerce experience.
  • Lead the migration of customers to our online workwear management platform, providing training to both external customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing success.
  • Guide the ecommerce strategy with a strong customer-first approach, creating an exceptional online experience that ultimately drives sales and meets performance goals.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business, as well as third-party service providers, to create a customer-inspired experience that aligns with our ecommerce vision.
  • Provide sound leadership and mentorship to the ecommerce team, inspiring a culture of ongoing learning that supports the growth and success of our online store.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to platform functions and processes using insights from customer behaviour, sales performance and analytics.
  • Align every improvement with our customers' changing needs, continually exceeding expectations in how we equip them for peak performance.

In line with Jonsson Workwear's commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.
