Dynamics 365 FO Technical Architect

Our clients' Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organizations. They help their clients stay ahead in the digital world by implementing Microsoft M365, Azure, and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line, including ERP and Customer Engagement (CE) solutions.

Role Overview

They are seeking a talented D365 F&O Technical Architect to leverage their expertise for the technical realization of tasks based on functional designs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This includes building and testing new and existing functionalities. This role offers a dynamic and exciting opportunity within a growing business area of a market-leading firm.

Requirements

• A university degree in computing or business discipline.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Core Certification; F&O Technical Certification is an asset.
• At least 6 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 F&O.
• Experience with all stages of D365 FO development.
• Understanding of best practices including code management, source control, unit testing, and build processes.
• Strong knowledge of X++.
• Familiarity with Life Cycle Services (LCS).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, gated check-ins, and pipelines.
• Understanding of DevOps principles.
• Knowledge of Automatic Testing Language (ATL) is a plus.
• Experience in data migration (Data entities) aligned with D365FO data handling processes.
• Experience with interfaces (SOAP, REST, custom services) is a plus.
• Team player with the ability to foster positive relationships.
• Resilient, adaptable to rapid changes.
• High ownership and ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel abroad as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution and Senior Technical Architects to create high-quality designs and solutions.
• Implement technical solutions for customer requirements in D365FO.
• Analyze and resolve ERP system issues.
• Participate in development, integrations, support, and platform updates.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Keep design and technical documentation updated.
• Work within an Agile framework based on business needs.
• Coordinate with onshore and nearshore development teams.
• Ensure development aligns with Microsoft standards, delivering on time and within budget.
• Participate in technical and design groups within the practice.
• Adhere to best practices and client standards during development.
• Update team and project managers on progress.
• Mentor developers and assist in technical interviews.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues early.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Follow client information security policies.
