A leading company is looking for a skilled Dynamics Business Central / NAV Developer in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will develop and support Microsoft Dynamics solutions while engaging with clients and contributing to sales initiatives. With 5+ years of experience required, this is a contract position initially for 3 months, with a possibility to go permanent.
We are seeking a skilled Dynamics Business Central (BC) / NAV Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics BC / NAV solutions, as well as supporting client relationship management, sales, and pre-sales activities.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to support sales efforts through proposal development, pricing, implementation planning, and technical demonstrations.
Responsibilities :
Technical Development : Develop, customize, and implement solutions based on business requirements within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
Application Management : Design, code, test, and debug applications; perform system integration, data migration, and performance optimization.
Collaboration : Work with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support & Maintenance : Maintain and enhance existing applications, provide technical support and troubleshooting.
Sales Support : Contribute to proposals, pricing models, and implementation strategies; develop proof-of-concept solutions.
Client Engagement : Conduct demonstrations and presentations; understand client needs and showcase solutions.
Industry Awareness : Stay updated on Microsoft Dynamics BC / NAV innovations and best practices.
Experience & Skills :
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC / NAV development and implementation.
Proficiency in AL, C / AL, C / SIDE, and SQL Server.
Experience with APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
Strong analytical skills to translate business processes into system requirements.
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Understanding of sales processes to support pre-sales activities with technical insights.
Qualifications :
Microsoft Dynamics or MS Business Central Functional Consultant Associate certification.
Additional Information :
Contract position initially for 3 months, with potential to go permanent.
