Dynamics 365 Business Analyst

Woolpert Africa is hiring a Dynamics 365 Business Analyst to join our dynamic Technology Services team at our Johannesburg, South Africa office. This position reports to the Solutions Director and is responsible for maintaining and further developing an environment that supports the business needs of its stakeholders. Qualified candidates will have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technical development work.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and build relationships with stakeholders to understand business issues.
• Liaise and build relationships with external consultants to help with business issues.
• Assist with stakeholder requirements capturing in line with business needs, and facilitate defining and delivering appropriate solutions to meet those requirements.
• Maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders.
• Ensure ongoing consistency of understanding business needs, objectives, priorities, and requirements.
• Assist with designing, building, implementing, and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 / F&O solutions with other systems.
• Assist with configuring workflows, dashboards, forms, views, and building standard or custom reports.
• Assist with migrating legal entities into Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Assist with resolving business as usual items.
• Work cross-functionally to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Data Stewardship and Oversight: Be able to identify questions such as: What data do we have? Where is the data? What is the quality of the data? Who owns the data? Who is responsible for each step of the data journey from start to finish? What happened to the data as it transitioned from raw to insightful?

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and business workflows.
• 5 years related experience working with ERP services in a midsized enterprise.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Experience in technology assessment.
• Experience working as part of a team assisting with system integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technical development work.
• Understanding of best practices for common ITIL processes (e.g., release, problem, transition).
• Demonstrates increasing levels of ownership and accountability for results in the workplace.
