Job summary

SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a high-performance Sales/Buying Administrator to support a demanding scrap metal buying/sales team. The role requires extensive administrative experience, accuracy, and the ability to manage large datasets in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment with a strong customer service focus.

Reporting to the Divisional Director, the permanent position offers standard hours with potential overtime and a highly competitive package based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-volume administrative role.
• Experience in a fast-paced sales and customer service environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (large datasets, formulas, basic reconciliations).
• Proven track record of high accuracy in data capture and reporting.
• Experience meeting strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
