The successful candidate will have 3+ years of FET experience, a BEd/PGCE in FET and strong CAPS knowledge, with opportunities for professional development and evening/weekend duties as needed.

Qualifications

• BEd and/or PGCE in FET phase education, with an honours degree in education (advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an FET phase teacher.
• Knowledge of the CAPS curriculum.
• Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coordinate subjects per Curro curriculum; active teaching and knowledge transfer.
• Plan lessons using modern tools; prepare workbooks and measure improvement.
• Set up term plans with differentiation for learners' barriers to learning.
• Create baseline assessments and advise subject choices and remedial work.
• Plan and manage the classroom, assessments, and communication with parents.
• Organise assessments, homework, moderation, and supervision.
• Plan extramural activities and provide one-on-one tutoring.
