Job summary

Fidelity Services Group seeks a Security Supervisor to lead on-site security operations in Gauteng. You will oversee security staff, ensure contractual requirements are met, and liaise with the client to maintain service quality.

The role requires PSIRA Grade A, matric, and 1–5 years in security; firearm competence is an asset. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required. Tertiary education is advantageous; strong administration and reporting are valued.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• PSIRA Grade A certification required.
• 1-5 years’ experience in the security industry.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
• Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence required.
• No criminal record.
• Tertiary education will be an advantage.
• Firearm competence: handgun, short-gun and rifle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Security Officers on site meet contractual requirements.
• General management and supervision of security staff and addressing queries promptly.
• Ensure contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client.
• Maintain good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client regarding security services.
• Evaluate service levels and recommend improvements to the Client.
• Handle administration matters and liaise daily with the Client on operational issues.
• Submit relevant daily/weekly/monthly incident and general reports.
• Work with management to assess and improve processes and policies.
• Uphold and enforce company policies.
• Train new hires and address employee complaints or performance issues.
• Check in with employees regarding satisfaction and schedule shifts.
• Address customer issues and complaints and meet with upper management.

Minimum Requirements:

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

• Ensuring that all Security Officers on site meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the Client

• General management and supervision of security staff and ensuring that all their queries are dealt with promptly

• Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client.


• Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered.


• Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services.


• Dealing with all required administration matters.


• Liaising daily with the Client on various operational issues.


• Submitting relevant Daily/weekly / monthly incident and general reports as required by Management.

• Work with management to assess and improve processes and policies


• Uphold and enforce company policies
