Job summary

HEINEKEN in South Africa is seeking a DS-BI Lead to steer the DA/BI Development and Advanced Analytics within the Smart Brewery ecosystem. You will guide analytics capabilities, partner with Product Leads, BAs, Data Engineers and developers to deliver scalable dashboards and models.

The role emphasizes governance, standardization of data modelling and KPI design, and fostering Agile ways of working across global squads to drive measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Eng, CS or related field.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Agile certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DA/BI Development and Data Science/Advanced Analytics capability.
• Define standards for data modelling, dashboards, and analytics.
• Drive standardisation of global analytical assets, KPIs, and models.
• Guide product discovery, backlog, and requirements for analytics.
• Collaborate with Product Leads, BAs, and Data Engineers.
• Ensure quality, performance, and scalability of analytics products.
• Promote Agile ways of working and continuous improvement.
