Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of commercial vehicles in accordance with FCC policy, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, etc., to ensure proper working order.
2. Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes, including highways, residential communities, and alleyways.
3. Operate manual and/or automatic controls following FCC's safety policies and procedures.
4. Interact courteously with dispatchers and personnel daily to ensure timely and professional service completion.
5. Monitor vehicle condition continuously to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime.
6. Accurately complete required documentation and reports.
7. Maintain adherence to productivity standards to ensure efficient customer service.
8. Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently.

Experience and Competencies:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Class B commercial driver’s license.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects.
• Meet all qualifications under Department of Transportation regulations.
• Drug-free workplace; substance abuse policies are in effect.
