Responsibilities

• Daily forklift checks and completion of daily checklist; inspect brakes, hydraulic oil and tyres.
• Minimise stock damage; report and record non-conformities promptly.
• Correct use of forklift and other equipment; follow SOPs and safe working practices.
• Maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards; care of equipment including scanner.
• Work within designated operating areas and complete daily MHE checklists.

Role Outline

To carry out duties to agreed level of performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes in the GRA department. To validate accuracy of claims according to the company's processes and standards confirm claims through an excellent customer focused network.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily checks of Forklift and completion of daily checklist - check daily controls - brakes hydraulic oil – tyres.


• To ensure that damage is kept to a minimum.


• Ensure correct use of Forklift and other company equipment and to timeously report any defects.


• When carrying out duties, follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices.


• To report and record any non-conformity with regard to customer merchandise.


• Housekeeping of the highest standard.


• Maintain high level of hygiene of Forklift.


• To work within operating areas as determined by management and the needs of the business.


• Completion of daily MHE check lists.


• Safe and correct operation of equipment.


• No damages of stock when offloading, storing and stacking.


• Care of equipment – Scanner.
