Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of drilling engineering experience with emphasis on operations.
• Proven experience in directional drilling, well control, and cementing operations.
• Familiarity with drilling fluid technology and its impact on wellbore stability.
• Strong understanding of oilfield equipment and downhole tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design well programs, including casing design, cementing, and directional drilling plans.
• Supervise drilling operations on-site, ensuring safe and efficient progress.
• Monitor drilling performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage drilling equipment and logistics, ensuring availability for operations.
• Conduct post-well analysis to evaluate performance and identify lessons learned.
• Collaborate with geologists, production engineers, and service providers to optimize outcomes.
