Job description

DPR CONTROLLER

Operations

Responsible for consolidating all efficiency, material usage variance, and production-related activities. This role works closely with production, engineering, and finance to ensure accurately aligned reports that deliver optimal efficiency, timely information, reporting, and investigation with the team.

Job Purpose

Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports managed through a batch-to-batch process from raw materials handover to production and warehousing. Ensure the accurate movement of all inputs into different processes and validations through SAP reporting, working closely with logistics, production, finance, engineering, and warehouse teams. Align reporting with financial data to provide consistent daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Own and accurately represent efficiency and productivity inputs and outputs, implementing short-interval controls. Ensure alignment with financials and KPIs, progressing daily, weekly, and monthly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety standards across all plant activities, acting as a custodian of safety protocols.
  • Engage key stakeholders to ensure processes and operations produce timely, accurate data for decision-making during daily reviews.
  • Develop departmental competencies through department heads, ensuring information provided is accurate and timely.
  • Develop accurate productivity reports aligned with BevCo and finance reporting standards for raw material consumption and efficiency.
  • Produce daily material usage variance and efficiency reports for all production inputs, ensuring departmental compliance with business processes.
  • Update process flows for all materials according to WCM standards and training protocols for the shop floor.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with procedures related to efficiency and material usage variances.
  • Review reporting with finance daily and weekly to ensure materials and OEE align with weekly financial estimates.
  • Manage system interfaces to ensure departmental compliance, publishing daily and weekly non-compliance reports highlighting gaps to plant leadership.
  • Work closely with production, finance, and engineering to ensure all transactions meet standard work practices and align with BevCo SOPs.
  • Develop and update weekly reports in time for plant routines.

Key Deliverables

  • Accurate reports that add value and help reduce material usage variance losses through loss and waste management.
  • Determine, communicate, and monitor the financial impact of losses, implementing short-interval controls with relevant departments.

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant diploma.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in production, engineering, or materials management.

Experience with SAP PP and MM or similar systems is advantageous.

Excellent Excel skills.

Experience in FMCG manufacturing is beneficial.
