Job description

The External Fibre Sales Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of sales representatives who engage directly with customers at their homes. As a Team Leader, you are tasked with ensuring that the team meets sales goals/targets, and maintaining high levels of motivation and performance within the group.

This role involves direct interaction with residents through door-to-door sales efforts, requiring effective communication and a customer-focused approach. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire and lead a team are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

  1. Door-to-Door Sales : Engage with residents in assigned communities to promote and sell fibre internet services, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings.
  2. Team Management : Ensure the team meets sales goals/targets, and maintain high levels of motivation and performance within the group.
  3. Walking Routes : Follow designated walking routes to maximize coverage and reach potential customers within the community.
  4. Educational Outreach : Educate potential customers about the advantages of our fibre internet services and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Feedback Reporting : Provide detailed feedback and insights after each shift, including customer interactions, concerns, and market trends.
  6. Working Hours : Work between 15:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday and between 08:00 and 12:00 on Saturdays.
  7. Sales Reporting : Accurately record and upload sales data into both client systems and our internal systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
  8. Customer Relationship Building : Foster positive relationships with potential customers and leave a favourable impression of the company.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to walk for extended periods and follow designated routes
  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong leadership skills

Additional Requirements :

  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to transport team members daily to designated work areas

Reporting Structure :

The External Fibre Sales Team Leader reports directly to the Sales Operations Team, providing feedback on team performance.
