Domain Architect - Integration

Responsible for providing guidance to different business areas on the Architectural Integration Strategy which includes the collaboration with various business areas regarding their integration related initiatives, understanding those initiatives and then relaying to the Enterprise Architecture team any gaps in the strategy that has been identified. Also works as an advocate and liaise with Information Services, Technology operational teams and Centres of Excellence, identifying technology requirements and researching possible solutions. Driving RFP processes from initiation to fulfilment for technology selections. Identify operational opportunities and develop Architectures consistent with the enterprise strategy and vision. Serves as the senior Architect in the Integration asset domain. Drives Architectural input into the Programme Increment Planning, setting up and maintaining Integration guardrails, reference architectures and roadmaps.

• Participation in Architecture Governance forums - Review Board and Solution Alignment Forum
• Consult to programmes (In time, on budget, great quality)
• Become Preferred technology advisor by business units
• Degree in Information technology/Engineering in Information Technology

Preferred Certifications

• Degree or Honours or above degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering/Computer Science
• ArchiMate certification

Minimum Experience Level

• At least 5+ years Architecture related experience as Integration Domain architect or Integration Enterprise Architect
• Banking Experience
• Intelligent Hyper Automation in Integration very beneficial
• Integration Architecture experience including Architectures such as Message Queueing, Enterprise Service Bus, Managed File Transfer, WAS, IIB, Web Services Frameworks products and tools, other IBM Integration Products
• Experience in architecting CloudPak for Integration
• Applying BIAN principles to Integration
• Advanced knowledge and application of a variety of hardware and software platforms and integrated information systems
• Basic Security architecture knowledge
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
