Qualifications

• BVSc or equivalent veterinary qualification.
• Registration with SA Veterinary Council preferred.
• Experience managing dog kennels and security dogs.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience in the security industry will be an advantage.
• Good administrative, organisational and communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Valid driver''s licence and own reliable transport.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall dog unit and staff.
• Ensure the health, welfare, feeding and daily care of dogs.
• Oversee veterinary care, vaccinations and medical records.
• Ensure kennels and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
• Manage and train Dog Handlers.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation.
• Conduct inspections and maintain operational standards.
• Liaise with management and clients.
• Compile required reports and investigate operational matters.
