The role involves leading and managing the operations of a distribution center to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products. The DC Manager oversees daily activities, ensures safety and compliance, optimizes processes, and meets productivity and cost-efficiency targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 years Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience
• 4-5 years’ DC/Warehouse Management experience (Operations, OHASA, Inventory, Transport)
• 4-5 years’ experience in cold chain management
• Experience with Functionally Outsourced Partners
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the distribution center aligned with company goals

• Ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery
• Manage relationships with outsourced service providers, ensuring performance and compliance
• Conduct performance assessments and implement improvements
• Optimize operational processes within the distribution center
• Set performance goals, evaluate team performance, and provide guidance
• Manage store relationships, understand requirements, and address concerns
• Monitor costs, identify savings, and achieve financial targets
• Ensure compliance with laws and industry standards
• Review and manage contracts, negotiate terms, and resolve issues
• Plan and execute business continuity strategies
