Distribution Centre Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to oversee the operations of a small-scale distribution centre.

JHB | Permanent | Negotiable

Your primary responsibilities will include managing stock and restocking of units, ensuring meticulous record-keeping, and maintaining food safety and quality assurance protocols.

You will also foster and maintain positive relationships with Spaza shop owners and their employees, managing around five shops in total.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Multi-cultural networking skills, e.g., manage relationships with Somalian or Eritrean Spaza shop owners
• Honest and ethical
• Problem solver
• Matric
• Advantageous: Preferably have some retail experience
• Certificate / Diploma in logistics, project management, business management, health and safety or related field
• Food safety / handling experience
• Logistics experience
