Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to oversee the operations of a small-scale distribution centre.

Location: JHB Permanent Negotiable

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Managing stock and restocking of units, ensuring meticulous recordkeeping and maintaining food safety and quality assurance protocols.
2. Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with Spaza shop owners and their employees, managing around five shops in total.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Multicultural networking skills, e.g., managing relationships with Somalian or Eritrean Spaza shop owners
• Honest and ethical
• Matric

Advantageous:

• Preferably have some retail experience
• Certificate/Diploma in logistics, project management, business management, health and safety, or related field.
• Food safety/handling experience
