Job summary

Pedros Chicken is seeking a Distribution Centre General Manager to lead the DC with responsibility for strategic, operational, financial and people performance across Receiving, Production, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, and Dispatch. The role ensures stock integrity, cold-chain compliance and service excellence while translating national DC strategy into site-level execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.
Proven experience in senior distribution operations and large-scale DC management.
Strong understanding of inventory and stock management and cost control.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership for the Distribution Centre's performance.
Ensure end-to-end operations across Receiving, Production, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics and Dispatch.
Translate strategy into site-level plans and execution.
Ensure SOPs and controls are consistently followed.
Monitor productivity, capacity, service performance and risks.
Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation.
Lead people management, workforce planning and development.
