Job description

I'm working exclusively with a long-established and highly regarded East London law firm to recruit a Commercial/Property Litigation Solicitor into their Dispute Resolution team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit litigation team with a strong referral network from across the firm’s conveyancing, family, and probate departments. You’ll handle a broad range of matters for private individuals and SMEs, including contractual disputes, leasehold issues, possession claims, service charge disputes, and professional negligence. While advocacy experience is welcome, it's not essential — you'll be supported to grow your skills in a collaborative and development-focused environment.

The role offers real variety, with a mix of both commercial and property litigation work. You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your caseload, build strong client relationships, and get involved in business development. The firm has a clear career development programme and offers regular internal training, as well as meaningful opportunities for progression.

We're looking for a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE and solid experience in both commercial and property litigation. You should be confident managing your own caseload, commercially minded, and comfortable working with a range of clients. An interest in marketing and networking will be valuable as the team continues to grow its presence.
