Qualifications

• Permis de conduire de chariot élévateur (avantageux).

Responsibilities

Our Client is looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to join their team
Location: Industria Johannesburg

Job Summary

The Dispatch Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating all outbound shipments, supervising dispatch staff, and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily dispatch of goods to customers
• Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on schedule
• Monitor vehicle loading, route planning, and driver schedules
• Maintain communication with transport providers and internal departments
• Oversee dispatch documentation and compliance with safety regulations
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures related to dispatch
• Identify and resolve delays or operational issues promptly
• Train, guide, and evaluate dispatch team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dispatch area

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dispatch, logistics, or warehouse supervisory role (preferably in manufacturing or packaging)
• Strong understanding of logistics, routing, and inventory systems
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in dispatch and warehouse software (e.g., SAP, WMS, Excel)
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to dispatch and transport
• Forklift license (advantageous)
