Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a hands-on Dispatch Supervisor to oversee daily dispatch operations, coordinate loading activities and supervise drivers. The role focuses on maintaining an efficient workflow, accurate order loading and adherence to quality and temperature control standards.

The successful candidate will lead drivers and loading assistants, support delivery route planning and ensure that invoices, trip sheets and dispatch documents align with customer orders.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of dispatch and loading operations.
• Ability to supervise drivers and loading assistants.
• Understanding of delivery route coordination and dispatch documentation.
• Ability to check invoices and verify customer orders.
• Knowledge of product loading and stock handling procedures.
• Ability to identify packaging, labeling and batch discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Motivate drivers and loading staff to perform duties quickly and accurately.
• Coordinate loading of completed customer orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Support route planning and timely dispatch preparation.
• Train new personnel in loading procedures and dispatch activities.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, stock handling and housekeeping.
