Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a senior leader to provide strategic leadership and execution of all Project Commercial activities across Organic Growth and Tailings capital projects, spanning multiple regions and project types. You will partner with Projects leadership to develop portfolio-wide commercial strategies, and to drive contracting, procurement and contractor management.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years in commercial/procurement leadership on major projects.
• Experience with SAP MM and data-driven decisions.
• Proven senior leadership in portfolio-wide commercial strategy.
• Strong contracting and negotiation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end commercial accountability for Organic Growth and Tailings portfolio.
• Set portfolio-wide commercial strategies and procurement methodologies.
• Lead complex negotiations and critical contracting decisions.
• Build and mentor a 15–20 member commercial team.
• Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards for executives.
