DIRECTOR OF SPORT

(SENIOR SCHOOL)

The Director of Sport is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and successful execution of the Senior School sport programme, coherence of sporting codes in one-school philosophy, and the management of different role players within the sports department.

The successful candidate must be passionate about growing, developing, and motivating young people and must be available after-hours and on weekends, including school holidays, to promote and drive sportsmanship. Proven leadership, managerial, and conflict management skills, along with experience in arranging and coordinating festivals and a wide range of sport codes, are prerequisites.

Applicants for this position are expected to have appropriate qualifications, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and the ability to work closely and cooperatively with colleagues. Furthermore, the successful candidate will build and foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels, possess excellent administrative skills, and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm, commitment, and passion for school sport.
