Job description

Zensar SA is hiring for a Director of Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the service line lead for South Africa RBU (service line is products and platforms plus Marketing services)
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities
  • Conduct client meetings, discovery sessions, and proposal presentations
  • Understand and communicate P&P and Marketing services propositions
  • Working collaboratively with sales leads in SA, delivery and strategy teams to scope and quote projects
  • Work towards yearly and quarterly revenue and margin targets for the service line
  • Use salesforce for pipeline visibility
  • Attend relevant industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities

Hard Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales or account management in digital, tech, or marketing services (10+ years)
  • Solid knowledge of digital products (design and build) plus creative Marketing services (ideally both but could be more focused on one)
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Commercial acumen — comfortable with quoting, negotiating, and closing
