Job summary

Office Of The Premier in Johannesburg is seeking a Director to lead Policy Research and Advisory Services. The role focuses on developing knowledge management frameworks, PME systems, and data-driven decision support for provincial governance.

The incumbent will manage knowledge centres, govern data assets, and coordinate stakeholder engagement to enhance performance monitoring and reporting across GPG. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• An NQF level 7 qualification in Knowledge Management, Data Science or Information Technology.
• 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in Performance Monitoring, Evaluation and Data Systems environment.
• Strong strategic capability and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of M&E systems, planning, reporting, data analysis and governance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate systems and interventions to professionalise PME capabilities in Knowledge Management.
• Develop Knowledge Management strategy, policies and implementation plan.
• Analyse PME data, maintain databases and data systems for evidence-based decision making.
• Oversee ICT standards, policies, and data storage architectures to support performance monitoring.
